  Effective July 1, 2000, all new notary applicants must complete a three hour course on the duties of a notary public. The State Of Florida offers access to a free interactive web site course that complies with these State education requirements. Once you have finished this course, a Certificate of Completion should be printed directly from the web site and attached to your application and bond form for processing.

  The Florida Notary Association staff is waiting to assist members with advice on proper notary procedure in the State of Florida. One of their personnel is also bilingual and happy to assist any notaries who prefer to converse in Spanish.

To begin the appointment process, print the required application and bond forms from our web site and complete them in their entirety. If you are unable to print these forms, please telephone the Association office so that they may either fax or mail you these application forms.

Once you have completed the application, bond form and education program, sign each form where indicated. Mail these required forms, along with your payment of $95.00 (made payable to Florida Notary Association, Inc.) to the address listed below. They accept personal and company checks, money orders, and purchase orders.
